- The ICSO issued a SCAM ALERT warning residents about fake court notices circulating via text message, which request payment for fees, fines, or tolls. The Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that the NCDMV will never request payment via text and urges recipients to report the messages as spam and delete them.
- A Mooresville woman was recently charged with two felony counts of indecent liberties with a child following a sexual assault investigation conducted by the ICSO.
